About JDO Collective
For those who don't just want to become successful, but want to stay successful.
JDO Collective grew out of 25+ years of international experience in hair, make-up and education. What began with The JDO Method and the Academy grew into a collective where education, community, wellbeing, experiences and impact come together.

Why JDO Collective exists
Education
Technique alone is not enough. Sustainable careers call for insight, creativity and growth that moves with every phase of your craft.
Wellbeing
The beauty industry asks a lot of your body, energy and attention. Without the right tools for recovery and self-regulation, passion is often sacrificed for performance.
Connection
No one builds a career alone. Growth accelerates when you are surrounded by people who understand the same challenges, ambitions and passion.
About the founder
International Hair & Make-up Artist · International Educator · Award-Winning Creative Director · Breathwork Facilitator · Nervous System Regulation Practitioner · Founder of JDO Collective.
25+ years of experience in the international beauty, fashion and education industries. Winner of national and international awards, Global Ambassador for Hairdressers Without Borders, Founder of Unity for Albinism and developer of The JDO Method.
After physical problems, years in the international industry and a personal search for recovery, she has, over many years, specialised in breathwork, nervous system regulation and trauma-informed work. From that grew the wellbeing philosophy that today forms an important pillar within JDO Collective, not a single workshop, but years of specialisation in which she now also trains other professionals.

Where it began
I have dyslexia. At school that never meant I was less capable, it meant I had to find my own way. That took perseverance, even when the well-trodden path did not fit me.
That is exactly where something grew that later became an essential part of my work: the ability to look at things differently, to think creatively and to find my own way.
That experience still shapes the way I teach. Because not everyone learns, grows or builds confidence in the same way. That is why The JDO Method is built around different ways of learning.
Physical strain
Creative pressure
Long working days
Injuries
My story
For eleven years I stood behind the chair. I learned everything about the craft, but no one taught me how to protect my body through long days and full schedules. How to deal with the constant pressure and stimulation of working with people. Or how to guard my own energy when I was there for others all day long.
In the end, injuries and burn-out forced me to let go of the work I loved so much behind the chair.
That was where my personal search began. Not only for recovery, but above all for the question: how could I have prevented this?
Through JDO Academy I guided students and professionals for years. It became increasingly clear that a sustainable career takes more than technique and talent. It is also about how you take care of yourself, deal with pressure and energy, and keep working with joy in a demanding industry.
Today I bring those worlds together.
I want to give hairdressers, hairstylists and make-up artists the knowledge and tools I didn't have at the start of my own career. So they not only become successful in the craft they love, but also stay healthy, inspired and balanced enough to keep enjoying it.
That vision forms the basis of JDO Collective today and lives on in Academy, Community, Wellbeing, Masterclasses, Retreats & Events and Impact.
The beauty industry teaches people how to build a career.
The JDO Method teaches people how to sustain one.
The JDO Method
The JDO Method grew out of more than 25 years of Juliette's experience in the beauty industry: behind the chair, on international shows and shoots, as an entrepreneur and as an educator.
The method goes further than teaching techniques. You don't simply learn to copy a teacher, you learn to look, analyse and understand why something works. That is how you develop the insight to make your own choices and shape your own way of working and creative signature.
Because not everyone learns the same way, that philosophy also shapes how we teach: understanding knowledge, experiencing it and making it your own in practice.
Staying healthy, inspired, connected and growing in an industry that asks a lot of you is something we support separately, through JDO Wellbeing, its own pillar within JDO Collective.
One method for how you learn to see, analyse and create.
