You take both programmes through the JDO Method, with the same assignments and the same feedback from the educators of JDO Academy. Each programme has its own Academy Sessions, so for each craft you sit with the people learning the same thing.

Immersion
You prepare online and let everything come together during the Immersion Days. Choose Immersion for both and the days follow each other: nine days, one trip.
Two programmes fit the calendar better than one
With Immersion there is time between enrolling and the days in the Netherlands. A module is released every week, and you need those months to arrive prepared. Take one programme and that period can feel like waiting. Take two and it is simply your study time: you learn make-up and hair in the same months, and you finish both in one period, with the days in the Netherlands as the closing piece.
With Online Guided you have twelve months of access per programme. Enrol for both at the same time and those periods run together, giving you plenty of time to practise both crafts. The same goes for Hybrid: the class evenings of one programme continue while you work on the other.
The nine days in practice
The Immersion days of both programmes are deliberately scheduled back to back, so you travel once and arrange accommodation once.
June 2027
Make-up 15 to 19 June, hairstyling 20 to 23 June. Together 15 to 23 June in the Netherlands.

These amounts apply when you pay in one go and take both courses within twelve months. The combination discount replaces the discount for paying in one go, and works out better in every combination. Prefer to pay monthly? Then you follow both courses through Online Guided as a duo subscription for €349 a month, instead of twice €199. The required shoot models are listed separately and fall outside the tuition: three models in total, €465 (€310 for make-up, €155 for hairstyling).

How it works in practice
When you start
You start learning the day you enrol. Online Guided has no fixed start dates. Hybrid has fixed start moments, because the class evenings run with a fixed group. With Immersion you begin online straight away and there is a cut-off date for the days on location.
At the same time or one after the other
Allebei kan. De meeste mensen lopen ze naast elkaar, omdat de stof elkaar versterkt. For the combination discount, the only condition is that you start both courses within twelve months.
Access
Each programme gives you twelve months of access to the learning platform. After that the access ends, so plan your two programmes to finish within that period.
Guidance
Your work is reviewed by the educators of JDO Academy. Each programme has its own monthly Academy Sessions with Juliette and the educators, where students from all learning paths and seasons come together.
Practising
Make-up you practise on your own models and hand in as homework. Hairstyling you practise on models or on a practice head.
Shoots
Each programme ends with a professional photoshoot, so two programmes also give you portfolio work.
Certificate and exam
You receive a certificate per programme, so two in total. Only the Make-up Artist Class ends with an exam. JDO Academy is exempt from VAT.
