What we expect from you
- ·After Discover you're not yet a make-up artist. You feel and see whether this profession suits you, then you continue to a full pathway to really learn it.
- ·You plan your own learning rhythm, we provide structure, you set the pace.
- ·You practise at home with your own models (friends, family, your own network) for the practical assignments.
- ·Personal guidance or photoshoots are not included, consider Online Guided or Hybrid if you do want that.

JDO Discover students in their own words.
I had been interested in make-up for years, but doubted whether I wanted to do something professional with it. JDO Discover gave me the chance to explore this calmly, without having to choose a full course straight away. The lessons were clear, professional and inspiring. I discovered that my interest went far beyond a hobby, and afterwards decided to progress to the full Make-up Artist Class.
With a busy job and a family, I first wanted to experience whether a make-up course would fit my life. Thanks to JDO Discover I could follow the modules whenever it suited me and practise at home at my own pace. I learned the most important basic techniques and got a good sense of the JDO Method. It gave me the confidence that a new creative direction is possible for me too.
I had always loved make-up, but was unsure about my technique and didn't know where to start. During JDO Discover I learned to look more consciously at skin, products, colour and building a complete look. The lessons gave me structure and only made me more enthusiastic.
