    Learn online at your own pace

    Through the JDO learning platform you follow the complete JDO Method step by step. You get immediate access to all modules, assignments and exercises, which you can follow at your own pace and revisit as often as you like.

    JDO Academy Sessions

    A JDO Academy Session is a monthly live online group call with Juliette and her team: your moment for personal guidance. Not a lesson, but space to connect, check in on how you're doing and ask your questions. You get inspired by students from all learning paths, each of whom started at their own moment, wherever in the world you live. The sessions take place in the evening (CET) and are recorded, so you can rewatch them in any time zone.

    Completion & certificate

    You do your assignments and practise at your own pace. As soon as you've completed the course, you receive your JDO Hairstyling Certificate. Want to capture your work professionally? Then you can optionally add a professional Portfolio Shoot as an upgrade.

Questions about Online Guided.

Can I combine the course with a full-time job?
Yes. The Online Guided Class is designed precisely for people with a full-time job, family or a busy life. You follow the online lessons at your own pace. Monthly JDO Academy Sessions are scheduled at fixed times, missed one? You can simply watch it back afterwards.
Do I need experience to start?
No. The JDO Method guides you step by step from the basics to a professional level. Both beginners and advanced students are welcome, a passion for hairstyling is enough to start.
How much time does the course take on average per week?
Count on 4 to 6 hours per week: 1-2 hours watching online lessons + 2-4 hours practising independently at home. Plus the monthly JDO Academy Sessions that take place at fixed times during the month.
What happens if I miss a JDO Academy Session?
The monthly JDO Academy Sessions are recorded, you can always watch them back. In the meantime you can also share your questions via the community or bring them to the next session.
How long do I have access to the online learning platform?
12 months of full access to the JDO learning platform, with continued access to course updates afterwards.
Do I need models to practise?
No. You practise at home on a practice head. Are you more advanced? Then you can also practise on models (friends, family or your own network), entirely your own choice. A professional photoshoot is not required, but is available as an optional upgrade, request info by email.
Is the professional photoshoot included?
Not by default. In the Online Guided learning path the focus is on online learning and JDO Academy Sessions. A professional photoshoot is available as an optional upgrade, get in touch to discuss the possibilities.
Can I take part if I live in Belgium or abroad?
Yes. Online Guided is 100% online, you follow the entire course from any location in the world.
Can I pay for the course in instalments?
Yes. Alongside paying in one go (€1.950), instalment payment is available via Klarna. At Klarna checkout the customer chooses the number of instalments and the associated terms.
Do I receive a JDO certificate after completion?
Yes. After successful completion you receive an JDO Hairstyling Certificate. JDO Academy is CRKBO registered, which means the course is VAT-exempt.
