How it works
You start today. You learn the complete JDO Method online from home, with your hands at work from week one and your work reviewed every week. The training week in the Netherlands is not a beginning and not a summary, it is where it all comes together.

You start today, with your hands
The platform opens the moment you enrol. Every week a new module is released with an assignment you actually carry out, on your own practice models. You hand in your homework and it is reviewed and assessed by the JDO Academy educators, with personal feedback on what you made. Within your 12 months of access you can revisit everything as often as you like.

Every month live, and you get to know the group
Right after you enrol you receive the JDO Welcome onboarding, so you can start straight away. After that you see each other every month in the JDO Academy Sessions with Juliette and the educators, together with the other students on the Make-up Artist Class, from every learning path and from earlier seasons too. Students who have already finished their course join in as well, and you come across them again in the JDO Community. You ask your questions, you show your work, and by the time you travel to the Netherlands you already know the people standing beside you in that room.

Multi-day Immersion on location
During your journey you join an Immersion Experience that suits you. A multi-day hands-on experience where everything comes together: working on models and personal mentoring.

Final shoot, portfolio & certificate
You finish with a professional photoshoot, a portfolio at a professional level and your JDO Make-up Certificate.

The models belong to the two shoots and are not optional. Pay for them here in the same order, or at the latest before the first shoot. We work with model agencies, so you work with professional models at a keen rate and we can put your work forward for publication.

What we expect from you
- ·You arrange your own travel and stay to the Immersion location, not included in the course price.
- ·You work through the JDO Method online via the learning platform in the months before the Immersion Days.
- ·For the final photoshoot we arrange the professional models through collaboration with model agencies. For these a mandatory contribution of €155 per model applies, €310 for two. That collaboration means professional models at a keen rate, and we can put your work forward for publication.

You are not choosing between three programmes. On all three you learn exactly the same thing: the complete JDO Method, the same assignments, the same feedback from the educators, the same monthly Academy Sessions and the same certificate.
The difference comes down to one thing: how much time you spend together, live. Online Guided asks you to travel nowhere. Hybrid is a monthly evening in Amsterdam. Immersion is five days back to back, or nine days if you take both programmes.

Taking both?
Make-up and Hairstyling
Take both programmes at Immersion level and a €500 duo benefit applies. You finish as a complete Hair & Make-up Artist, able to create the whole look yourself. The days of both programmes run back to back, so you travel to the Netherlands once and are with us for nine days: make-up Tuesday to Saturday, hairstyling Sunday to Wednesday. You then follow 34 modules instead of 20, and the months before the training week are exactly long enough for that. What feels like waiting on one programme is simply your study time on two. Finish early and you use that time on real work: bridal jobs, building your portfolio, widening your network. You then arrive in the Netherlands not just prepared, but already working.
