How does signing up work?
You can register through JDO Academy’s official website. Choose the desired master class and fill out the registration form. You will then receive a confirmation email with further details.
Am I entitled to student loans?
- Costs vary by master class and location. All pricing information can be found on the specific master class’s page.
- Payment can be made securely via credit card, bank transfer or other international payment methods such as PayPal.
What is included in the master class?
Depending on the master class, the following are usually included:

Are class materials included in the course or training fee?
Our master classes are suitable for professional hair and makeup artists who want to expand their skills, improve their creativity or are looking for new inspiration.
Do I need to have experience to participate?
Yes, a basic level of hair and/or makeup skills is recommended unless specifically stated otherwise at the master class.
Where do the master classes take place?
The master classes are organized worldwide in cities such as Amsterdam, Rio de Janeiro, New york and more. The exact location will be communicated prior to the training.
What languages are spoken during the master classes?
Most master classes are taught in English and in some countries we have a translator. If another language is used, this will be indicated in advance.
How large are the groups during a master class?
To ensure personal guidance, we keep groups small during hands-on training sessions. Typically, groups range between 10 and 20 participants.
What should I bring?
We will send a list of supplies after registration. This may include your own tools, brushes or styling products.
Can I cancel or reschedule my participation?
Cancellation is not possible, although you can move your registration to a Master Class in another country.
Will I receive a certificate upon completion?
Yes, upon successful completion of the master class, you will receive an official JDO Academy certificate.
Are dietary needs taken into account?
Absolutely. Please indicate any dietary needs when you register, and we will make sure they are taken into consideration.
Can I combine my participation with tourist activities?
Sure! Many of our master classes are organized in cities where you can also explore the surrounding area. We are happy to provide tips on what to do during your stay.
